Gliffy - First Impressions
I spent a few minutes to do a test run of Gliffy, the online Visio-like tool. I thought that it was pretty easy to use and was good for making simple drawings and flowcharts. There is a fairly decent level of keyboard support (which I always look for in any tool) with the stand-out feature being the ability to move diagrams around using the arrow keys. There is no right click implementation yet...
Boca Raton, Florida
I am on an assignment in Boca Raton, Florida (around 60 miles from Miami). Its been just over a week since I landed here, the weather is good - a cross between Chennai & Bangalore weather. Since I do not drive, I have been unable to see the famous beaches here. Hopefully, will get to see before I eventually leave in a month’s time. Meanwhile, enjoy the pictures at the following link...

But I could see blogs that had reviewed and raved about Taazza, which made me...

This would mean more space for content but would also make the posts look small. Please do let me know what you think of it. Update: SV reviewed the template and suggested a change to the original link color and style. I’ve...
Mercury Rising
Looks like the much dreaded Chennai summer is starting soon, the thermometer in my room here shows 32.5 C (at 6.20 PM). People on move/on the streets would be the worst affected. The maximum temperature that I’ve experienced so far is 41 C. I was hoping that with the record amount of rainfall that Chennai experienced last year, there maybe a slight climatic change, unfortunately...
