Web 2.0 "OS" - A Quick Look
Reading this post at TechCrunch got me interested in looking at the Web OS’ out there. Here is a quick look at some of them. WidgetPlus A stable OS with an interface that resembles a regular OS. I tried the browser and notepad and they both worked pretty well. A context-based right click menu is also available with options for refresh, settings, help etc. The site calls itself a widget...

This then spread to the entertainment channels - 9X, Zoom, NDTV Good Times etc. Not sure how this works, as these channels continue to be available on the local cable. This site is now XFN friendly!
I was sold on the XFN concept when reading through its site and the Microformats site. Semantic Web has always attracted my attention and I had wanted to be associated with it in some way. Microformats are a great way to add meaning to the content out there and XFN is a simple and effective way to do it. So, I’ve gone ahead and qualifed all links in this site with the “rel”...
