Web 2.0 "OS" - A Quick Look
Reading this post at TechCrunch got me interested in looking at the Web OS’ out there. Here is a quick look at some of them. WidgetPlus A stable OS with an interface that resembles a regular OS. Is Tata Sky Losing Ground in the DTH Segment?
The initial package had several channels covering various categories. Slowly, sports channels such as Zee Sports vanished, followed by Neo Sports that wanted additional payment. This then spread to the entertainment channels - 9X, Zoom, NDTV Good Times etc. Not sure how this works, as these channels continue to be available on the local cable. Recharging is not very smooth either; not many shops...
