text 6 Feb This site is now XFN friendly!

I was sold on the XFN concept when reading through its site and the Microformats site. Semantic Web has always attracted my attention and I had wanted to be associated with it in some way. Microformats are a great way to add meaning to the content out there and XFN is a simple and effective way to do it.

So, I’ve gone ahead and qualifed all links in this site with the “rel” attribute, and added a XFN profile attribute to the “head” tag. So according to the XFN site, this site can now call itself XFN friendly (see button below).

With the setup in place, it should now be a quick thing to apply XFN attributes to links of friends and co-workers when adding them.

I am now excited to be a part of the semantic web in whatever little way possible.
