text 5 Dec Disgruntled and dejected

Pasth dilon ki daastaan kya sunayein, masarrat saraab ban gayi hai aaj
Dasth dua mein hain kab se uthaaye, Qaaliq rahm kar de tuu aaj

Ever since I wrote this sher in February of 2001, I’ve been muttering it to myself off and on. Today I’ve been feeling home sick and extremely turned off with the way people are behaving. The sher is a prayer seeking help from the almighty against these and other evils that are rampant in today’s world. Hope it gets accepted.
