And they said that the lion’s roar was thunderous, his appearence was majestic and royal. The wait to watch him would be worth it and so on. After a long wait, much after the people involved in the Dog and Pony show had left, a large heavy looking cage arrived. Presently, the cage opened, out jumped a cat and ran away!
Continuing the bashing of the way the Indian software firms operate, I imagined the above situation to depict the way software consultants are sold to clients in the US. The sales folks create such massive hype that the expectations from the clients become so high that no performance from the consultants can satisfy them. A cat can never become a lion, I should know, I was a cat once.
