Following the state government’s move to take over SCV and Hathway, SCV started acting saintly, airing Ten Sports freely. The reasons behind the government’s take over bid may be debatable, but the decision to air Ten Sports is definitely welcome. I do not care who controls the channels as long as the unfair rip-off called CAS is abolished. It makes absolutely no sense to implement it considering that all the channels that are aired through the set top box draw a large revenue from advertisements.
SCV’s alms apart, let us not forget that Doordarshan still is a traitor.
