I usually keep my mobile phone in my pant pocket and my purse in my shirt pocket, but off late I have swapped the positions as the shirt pocket looks bulged and ugly with the purse. The change has made me realize that my mobile phone is an acrobat. The other day when I was standing at the top of the stairs and had to bend down for some reason, my phone jumped out of the pocket on to the stairs, did a couple of somersaults down the steps and reached the third step from the top. And funnily, it escaped without a bruise. This probably encouraged it because it tried to do a stunt again today. When I bent down, the phone popped out and raced away on a smooth surface making me feel embarrassed in front of a group of people. But today, it couldn’t get away with its mischief, for when I tried to charge it, it did not respond. I am taking it to the doctor tomorrow for an operation. Serves it right for not behaving itself.
