Looks like the much dreaded Chennai summer is starting soon, the thermometer in my room here shows 32.5 C (at 6.20 PM). People on move/on the streets would be the worst affected. The maximum temperature that I’ve experienced so far is 41 C. I was hoping that with the record amount of rainfall that Chennai experienced last year, there maybe a slight climatic change, unfortunately that does not seem to be the case.

Wear your Lungis, cotton dresses,and drink lots of “Yelaneer” (coconut water) to beat the heat.
