Barbarians’ Efforts in Vain

I was in Mumbai for a training program when the disaster struck. It is increasingly hard for me to understand the motive for such a barbaric act. I am both sad and angry at the same time - a feeling that is tough to express in words.
The spirit and resilience of the Mumbai folks has been really amazing. For a Chennaiite like me, I am more used to the attitude Kiruba has mentioned. The day after the disaster in Mumbai was very normal, people going about their work as usual. From my hotel room, I could see people coming in to the office complex near my room at 9 AM.
The helpful and heroic acts of the city folk have already been lauded by all.
