text 26 Aug Tokyo Diary: Sayonara

After completing my assignment on 25th Aug, I attended a traditional Japanese dinner hosted by my client. As usual, I had fish and vegetables. The food was nothing much to speak about but the overall ambience was excellent - low tables, no shoes, a few traditions and Japanese tea.

In retrospect, I found the people hospitable and the transportation system - the commuter trains, exceptional. The Bidet Toilet is another wonder that I will miss a lot.

Despite the strenuous work, language problems and lack of palatable food, I had an overall satisfied feeling as I had completed my assignment successfully (and in between managed to do a fair amount of sight-seeing).

So Sayonara (goodbye) Tokyo and Arigatou Gozaimaasu (thank you very much) for the hospitality.
