It is Monday morning and I am facing the same old problem - getting out of bed. This is a result of indulging myself in excessive sleep on weekends. In my struggle to get out of bed this morning, I was reminded of a physics term called Escape Velocity and thought that I should redefine it. So, here goes.
Escape Velocity: The minimum velocity that a mortal being must attain to get out of bed at 6.30 - 7.30 AM (or other betimes) escaping the gravitational field of the bed and the urge to continue sleeping completely.*
