Super Over - New Twenty20 Rule

A new tie-breaker rule in international Twenty20 Cricket has come into effect. The new rule called Super Over replaces the “Bowl out”. In the Super Over, both teams need to play with four players each: 3 batsmen and a bowler. Runs need to be scored off the one super over with the loss of less than 2 wickets. The runs scored at the end of the over or at the loss of two wickets, need to be chased down by the other team. In the first ever match with new rules, the Windies tied with the Kiwis and then beat them through the Super Over
